Still down in sd and hopeful for our house but the fire definitely made it to my street. This photo is on my street and the above photo is two houses up from mine. I'm still hopeful tho cus the fire
fighters were there and they're using poway high school as a rest area
for the fire fighters and it's at the bottom of the hill from my
house. My family is doing well. We got out safe and we had 4 hours to
pack thanks to the winds. They were blowing so hard that the canopy
outside was banging against the house and eventually fell apart waking
me and my dad up so that when we went outside and saw the flames in the
distance we were able to have plenty of time to pack. We were able to
get a lot of my grandfather's paintings and most of our photos and
evacuate the house. My dad keeps joking that if the house burns down
that he's always wanted another kitchen. We're safe downtown now so
things will be okay and the most important thing is that we got out
safe. |

I just got a Wacom tablet off of craiglist and I totally love it. For those not versed in computer peripherals, a Wacom tablet is this drawing pad that comes with a pen stylus that plugs directly into the computer and is pressure sensitive so that it can simulate drawing more realistically. If i press hard, it does thick lines; if i press lightly, it does thin lines. This particular drawing is some concept art so hopefully I'll pump out a couple more of these soon. |
